A few things before I run to work...

I've re-added 3 Quarks Daily (my intellectual candy) to my RSS, and am already finding plenty to talk about. I had removed it about a year ago because I found it was an excellent way to waste time and feed my brain's endless hunger. But I've missed it too much, so I'm going to try this time to learn some self-control. For your entertainment, the initial spoils with my commentary:

This little girl almost makes me want to have children- but only if they speak fluent French, of course. In any case, her story is far more interesting and coherent than what passes for fiction currently.

Once upon a time... from Capucha on Vimeo.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go make eggrolls so I'll have something to eat for lunch. Don't go too far, however. I finally made a second batch of homebrew, and I'll tell you all about it in a day or so when I have the time.

  1. Cute kid. I have to agree with your assessment of her writing as compared to some making way too much for what they actually produce.
Off the top of my diminutive head, I found her story (for what its worth) more enthralling than say, Michael Bay's Transformers flicks, Saw (1-9000,) Wolverine, or the Prequel Trilogy. In fact, even Frank Miller washed out in The Spirit... maybe Peter Jackson was swallowing up too much of the genius bandwidth of some kind of En, in order to produce District 9, and everyone else will get good again now that that's over?
Except Hallie Berri, she was never good... she shall continue to suck, for see is the non-being of film and art, indeed the Nothing itself.

  2. Did you just link Halle Berry and The Neverending Story? For shame!
